I Can't Fight: I Am A Christian
Original Air Date: September 27, 2008 AudioLink_2008_0927
Show Category: Patriotism
Show Description: I came across a story about a young man who signed up for the army. Went to training in Alaska and, like most of those enlisted, he was shipped off to Iraq. Once he got to Iraq, he converted to Christianity, and felt he could not longer serve in a war and applied for a conscientious objector. But how do we know when someone has changed their life due to conversion. Join the conversation as we look at how we know when faith has changed us.

Jesse Helms

Allen's Top Five 5 BBQ Restaurants
1. Tucker's BBQ in Macon, Georgia. Unbelievable food. Words cannot describe.
2. Fincher's BBQ - Macon, Georgia. Why does Macon have such good BBQ?
3. Ole' Timer BBQ. Rome, Georgia. Great food but check out the BBQ Turkey. One of a kind.
4. Sprayberry's BBQ - Newnan, GA. Barbecue is good, but the Brunswick stew and onion rings are divine.
5. Shane's Rib Shack and BBQ - the original on Hwy. 155 in McDonough is superb. Ribs and pulled pork!

Quotes to Live By
"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him [Jesus]: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the son of God: or else a madman or something worse."
-C.S. Lewis
