Did you ever see Basic Instinct? Maybe Showgirls? Be honest. The writer of those movies was a man named Joe Eszterhas. Joe grew up in a Catholic family but in his early adulthood moved away from his faith. But a surprising thing happened to him after he got throat cancer, he returned to his faith. It got me thinking how faith is often like a bicycle. We usually learn early in life the basics, but it takes events in adulthood to bring us back. And luckily, we usually remember how to "ride."
