Show Category: Inspirational/Heartfelt Show Description: A person?s health is based upon a variety of factors that include diet, weight, environment, physical-activity, access to healthcare, heredity, and, yes, their faith. Many in the secular world are of the opinion that health, and healing, are based primarily on diet, exercise, and the miracles of modern science. While I agree that diet, exercise, and modern medicine play a significant role in a person?s health, I would also add that a person?s faith in God will have a profound role in both their physical and mental health. A number of medical studies have shown that a person?s faith improves their immune system, enhances healing, reduces complications during major illnesses, shortens the recovery period following surgery, and leads to longer life. Obviously, people of faith know something that many in secular world do not: Faith in God?s love, provision, and protection is a very powerful tool to fight illness and promote improved health. Lots of folks want to help you get healthy. There are lots of confusing messages. I can help: FAITH will help your life. Promise. |
