Praying For Rain
Original Air Date: November 17, 2007 AudioLink_2007_1117
Show Category: Religion
Show Description: The Governor of Georgia, Sonny Perdue, started a pretty big controversy when he decided to have a prayer service for the much needed rain. Critics actually are using the Bible as their platform and saying that Jesus calls us to not pray in public, but rather go into a closet and seek God in private. Join the conversation as we look at prayer - in the private and the public - and examine when and why we turn to God for help.

Show Guest: Steve Yothment
