Honesty and Integrity - Hallmark of Faith, But Where Did It Go?
Original Air Date: May 1, 2005
Show Category:
Life/Misc
Show Description: My faith teaches me to be honest and to have integrity in all that I do. Somewhere between childhood and becoming an adult, society teaches that dishonesty, and a lack of integrity, is acceptable and downright permissible. Some recent examples of such behavior include President Bill Clinton stating that, ?I did not have sexual relations with that woman??, Mark McGwire, who broke down in tears, refusing to answer a Congressional committee?s questions regarding allegations that he used steroids during his playing career, and Bernie Ebbers who stated that, ?he didn't even notice the dramatic changes in WorldCom's finances?. Yikes!! When society?s icons cannot be honest, the average American begins to surmise that honesty and integrity are optional, and that getting-ahead and self-satisfaction are more important than truth and morality. But thankfully, a recent story of real life and faith from Wisconsin reinforces that honesty and integrity are alive and well. Listen-in Sunday, and get the details.

Take Allen's Poll

|
|
|
Allen's Top Five 5 BBQ Restaurants
1. Tucker's BBQ in Macon, Georgia. Unbelievable food. Words cannot describe.
2. Fincher's BBQ - Macon, Georgia. Why does Macon have such good BBQ?
3. Ole' Timer BBQ. Rome, Georgia. Great food but check out the BBQ Turkey. One of a kind.
4. Sprayberry's BBQ - Newnan, GA. Barbecue is good, but the Brunswick stew and onion rings are divine.
5. Shane's Rib Shack and BBQ - the original on Hwy. 155 in McDonough is superb. Ribs and pulled pork!
