Jerry Falwell & His Legacy

Jerry Falwell died this past week. We have been known to say here that "Jerry Falwell doesn't speak for me." But after he died, I started reading about him a lot. And frankly, after reading about him, I have to say, he probably speaks more for me than I thought. He was an amazing man. Sure, we didn't agree on everything. But I am hard pressed to find a better Christian leader. I know that is a bold statement, and maybe divisive, but I stand by it. Join the discussion. Do you think he was a great leader, or an awful excuse for a human being?
