Georgia: We Are Sorry for Slavery
Original Air Date: March 18, 2007 AudioLink_2007_0318
Show Category: Race
Show Description: There are two bills of interest being considered by the state legislature: 1.) a bill calls for a "Confederacy History Month" and 2.) another bill calls for Georgia to officially apologize for slavery. Frankly, I think Georgia should apologize for slavery, and having a Confederacy History Month is an unnecessary idea. But I have a feeling that many of my Atlanta listeners will disagree. Join the conversation.

Allen's Top Five 5 BBQ Restaurants
1. Tucker's BBQ in Macon, Georgia. Unbelievable food. Words cannot describe.
2. Fincher's BBQ - Macon, Georgia. Why does Macon have such good BBQ?
3. Ole' Timer BBQ. Rome, Georgia. Great food but check out the BBQ Turkey. One of a kind.
4. Sprayberry's BBQ - Newnan, GA. Barbecue is good, but the Brunswick stew and onion rings are divine.
5. Shane's Rib Shack and BBQ - the original on Hwy. 155 in McDonough is superb. Ribs and pulled pork!
