Show Description: Barack Obama made a comment this week about how Americans are bitter and because of their bitterness they cling to religion and guns. Now, what offends me most about this isn't the attack on religious beliefs, but rather that he implies Americans have something to be bitter about. This is the greatest country in the world and we are truly blessed to live here. So seriously, what is there to be bitter about. Join the conversation as we look at living in America and what we have to be grateful for.

Quotes to Live By
"Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that Our Lord finds our desire, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased."
-C.S. Lewis
