Show Description: Americas obsession with fast food has lead to some very bad eating habits while also helping to severely damage the family institution of eating dinner together. The annual satisfaction ratings for America?s fast food chains are out, and Papa John's has claimed first place while McDonald's is 9th in customer satisfaction. These rankings are crucial since the fast food industry is worth over $100 billion each year in revenue. That?s a lot of pizza, french fries, burgers, and tacos. The rise in the fast food market has coincided with the decline of the American family gathering for dinner and conversation. That is a true shame. Gathering the family for meals, conversation, and fellowship each day is crucial to building strong and lasting relationships. Fast food certainly has its place, but its over-use by parents is leading to the breakdown of the family unit. A number of studies have shown that families that eat together regularly are stronger, and their children are more inclined to follow the wishes of their parents. Join me on Sunday to learn how to strengthen your family.
