Show Description: Did you hear this week what surfaced out of the Mike & Mike Roast in Atlantic City? Apparently Dana Jacobson had a bit too much Belvedere Vodka and decided to, amongst other things, say F@#* Jesus. Now if she would have said F@#* Mohammad there would be riots in the streets of Tehran. If she would have said F@#* fagots, there certainly would have been a backlash from the gay community. If she would have said F@#* Jews, I am sure the ADL would have her job on a platter. But Jacobson offered an apology, and here's my stance. As Christians, the only F-word that matters in this situation is: Forgiveness.

Allen's Legal Pad for
The Dana Jacobson F-Word: Forgiveness

Why is it Ok to bash Christians but not blacks, Jews, Muslims, or other groups?

Dana Jacobsen back on air this week

One week suspension at ESPN

Drunken tirade at roast for Mike and Mike show

Drinking vodka straight from Belvedere bottle

Speaking – “F Notre Dame, F Touchdown Jesus, F Jesus”

CLIP of what she said

Outrage began

Charlie Weis sitting right there – head coach of Notre Dame

Catholic League – and others demanding her termination

If she said F blacks, or F muslims, or F Jews – can you imagine the outcry

When Rush Limbaugh suggested Donovan McNabb treated differently because he was black – ESPN could not get him off the team quickly enough

Don Imus, Al Campanis

Some Jews still not willing to speak with Jesse Jackson for his remarks years ago abut Hymie-Town

Mel Gibson been vilified for remarks about Jews even after he apologized

Ask Salman Rushdie what happens when speak ill of Muslims – not mention Theo van Gogh

But Dana Jacobson takes it to a whole new level against Christians

And ESPN merely suspended her for a week

Lines for that job would be as long as the Boston Marathon – she can go be a waitress at TGIFriday's

But they chose merely to suspend her- after all, it is just Christians

Not like it was Muslims, blacks, Jews, gays, et al

So Monday night – she was back at work on Sports Center set

And she apologized

AUDIO CLIP

Patrick Mahoney – Christian Defense Coalition – demanding more

One week suspension not enough – termination, sensitivity training

You know what?

She apologized – and I believe her

I accept her apology

And the central point of the Christian faith is forgiveness

She is right – we all screw up

We all need a second chance and a third

And that is what makes Christians Christian

Forgiveness and the belief that God is a second chance God

Lighten up, show the grace that you need in your own life and give her a shot

Reformed Presbyterian church - “justice, candor, ...”

What about grace?

Grey's anatomy Isaiah Washington use of epithet for gays
