Show Description: I have been astonished at how many TV shows and movies I have seen out of Hollywood that have actually had a fairly pro-life message in it. Knocked Up. Juno. Scrubs. Sex & the City. Seriously! With an issue as divisive as abortion, we are going to not talk about the politics or laws or protests or bombings: we are just going to talk about real life and life. Join the discussion as we discuss life, death, regrets and hope.
We have two resources: CareNet • 800-395-HELP • is a referral site for those needing help. Join the 40 Days For Life During Lent Campaign.

Allen's Legal Pad for And The Oscar Goes To...Abortion?
Juno took G to see it with her friend deserves its Oscar noms

Review on my blog
Figures she is gonna have abortion
Goes to clinic one Asian friend picketing that morning
All God's children should be borned
Goes into clinic receptionist Goth, body piercings, tattoos, not paying attention
So Juno goes running out back by her Asian friend from school
And decides to give birth to the baby
rest of movie about finding the adoptive parents, how that becomes a disaster
And 16 year old girl's navigation of decision to have a child, place it with a woman unable to conceive
But here is what is amazing
Saw this, rented Knocked Up, went to Noelle all had subtle tones that life is important, that babies are humans pro-life in understated ways
Hollywood has actually produced a bunch of pro-life stuff of late
Stunning when you get to thinking about it
And they all show the personal side
As pastor, this is side I saw
Not so much the picketing of clinics, and the lobbying for legislation
But the deeply personal side women struggling to make decisions
Women facing major life choices unexpected intrudes into reality
35th anniversary this week of Roe V Wade
To me, a more personal subject
Raw, emotional, real real life and faith
60+ % for women in early 20's who already have a child that is the figure I do not get
Have you had an abortion? What was it like? No judgment here
Why did you make that decision? Was it right? Still thinking about it?
