Columbia Professor Incest Case

A professor at the University of Columbia has been charged with the crime of incest. Allegedly David Epstein has been sleeping with his of age daughter for years. While many might be shrieking in horror, it does raise the question: if the sex was consensual and both parties are of age, what's so wrong about it? I mean if gay marriage is acceptable, why not polygamy? And if polygamy, why not consensual, of-age incest?
