Danny Wuerffel
In 1996, Danny Wuerffel received the highest honor bestowed on any college football player -- The Heisman Trophy. At the University of Florida, Wuerffel had broken school records for yardage and scoring totals. He won numerous awards, honors, and accolades, and was named Academic All-American Player of the Year, All Southeastern Conference first team and Offensive Player of the Year. In 1997, Wuerffel was drafted by the New Orleans Saints. He had made it to the big-time, the NFL. But in spite of his outstanding achievements and the national attention he received as a result, Wuerffel seemed unfazed by his success. During college, he decided to surrender his life completely to Jesus Christ. Wuerffel's decision changed his life forever. Danny now resides in Nw Orleans and runs Desire Street Ministries, a non-profit faith-based organization focusing on spiritual and community development in one of the poorest areas of New Orleans. He also speaks to college groups, such as the University of Florida Fellowship of Christian Athletes. |

Allen's Top Five 5 BBQ Restaurants
1. Tucker's BBQ in Macon, Georgia. Unbelievable food. Words cannot describe.
2. Fincher's BBQ - Macon, Georgia. Why does Macon have such good BBQ?
3. Ole' Timer BBQ. Rome, Georgia. Great food but check out the BBQ Turkey. One of a kind.
4. Sprayberry's BBQ - Newnan, GA. Barbecue is good, but the Brunswick stew and onion rings are divine.
5. Shane's Rib Shack and BBQ - the original on Hwy. 155 in McDonough is superb. Ribs and pulled pork!
