Post-Secret Week #4 - Kids Killing Animals

My mother used to tell me every time I wouldn't feet the cat or when I would throw stones at the geese in our yard that "it has been proven that those who torture animals become serial killers." I knew from a young age that logic was wrong. Classic example of if A implies B, B doesn't necessarily imply A.

Just because serial killers probably tortured animals, doesn't mean those who torture animals become serial killers. Thank you post secret for reaffirming my thoughts on this topic.

Although.....on a side note, I do wonder more than I should if I could kill someone and get away with it. I am pretty sure I could. But I think that thought is more of a challenge to our legal system than it is a true desire to end someone's life. But then again, maybe mom was right all along.

Be sure to visit Post Secret for more interesting looks into the human condition.

Gravatar.com I'm pretty sure you could get away with it too - after working where I have been for the past 2 years, I have lost almost all faith in the legal system of this country.

Gravatar.com The chalange is not in killing a random person- crimes like that go unsolved everyday. Its geting away with it when you had motive and opourtunity but they still cant get you on evidence that would impress me.

Gravatar.com this reminds me of two instances at beaches where I nailed seagulls with a rock and stick. Both were knocked to the ground, but neither died. I'll admit, it was fun...sick, eh?

Andy Borgmann - TwitterI did ALL my work and show prep today from my home! I could have very well have been at the beach or Paris. One step at a time :)
Andy Borgmann - TwitterIn honor of Bell inventing the phone 134 years ago today, I am building my own phone system from scratch to get away from AT&T! Take that!
Andy Borgmann - Twitter@dhepburn About 20 minutes by myself. We did about 30 minutes together, then I dropped him off and was up for another 20 minutes by myself.

Andy Borgmann - TwitterLiterally got the last 2 tickets to the ASO's Music of John Williams Saturday performance. It is going to be fun.
Andy Borgmann - TwitterTwo reasons this day stinks already: 1) I wish I were still at the beach and 2) It is a perfect day to fly solo but the schedule is booked.
Andy Borgmann - TwitterWork is done. I am heading to the beach... See y'all on Monday.

Description
Andy's blog aims to be like a Scrubs episode, mixed with a Chuck Klosterman column, centered around the topic of faith. It is open, honest, raw, and a little embarrassing. It is a place to discuss religion, politics, ministry, pop culture, and well, just life - especially focused on the time of life we call our 20s!

Andy is the Executive Producer of The Allen Hunt Show; a progressive (in the literal sense), talk radio show based in Atlanta, GA aimed at bringing faith back into the public discussion. Andy enjoys travel, aviation, web design, politics, friends, and faith. He holds that the secret to a full life is loving God and loving people - which he fails at constantly.

Andy grew up in Fort Wayne, IN. He now lives in Alpharetta, GA.

More information about Andy can be found at www.2timothy42.org or Andy's Facebook.

P.S. As has been mentioned on air, Andy is horrible at grammar and spelling. Please excuse any mistakes, trust me, he's sorry.
