Islamic Profiling
One night last week, I shared that I agree with Rep. Coffman of Colorado and Sen. Inhofe of Oklahoma. We simply have no choice but to profile in America. The only question is whether we have the nerve to profile or would prefer instead to commit a slow national suicide.

The show generated lots of emails and debate. Here are two sides of the issue from two listeners.

Arlene - AGREE

I'm a liberal, Democratic, Jewish woman with atheistic leanings who happens to agree with you 100% on the Muslim situation. I was listening to your show earlier this evening as I was taking a walk along the beach. I think it may have been a rebroadcast; I was unable to call in. I appreciate your courageous, gutsy words and your well-founded logic. I would like to comment:

1. More people might say they have concerns about Muslims if the survey didn't use the term "prejudiced," which we have ingrained in our minds as a perorative term. Prejudice = bad. Prejudice = prejudging people without giving them a fair shake. So I wouldn't trust the results of that survey.

2. You're absolutely right about this so-called religion - a religion that preaches violence and destruction. Sure, the Christians have done some terrible things in the past (that little thing called the Inquisition, for instance), but that is history, not a current threat. I don't have concerns about Christians, Jews, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, etc. blowing up planes.

3. There is a lot of resentment in the Muslim world toward Israel, the U.S., and other thriving nations. While Israel and the U.S. don't advocate destroying Muslim nations, the Muslim nations preach destruction of Israel and hatred of the U.S.

4. I appreciate what the senators said about the need to profile people. But it was wrong for Inouye to use the blanket term "Middle Eastern." That would include Israel, which is hardly a terrorist threat. I think the senator was too wimpy to say "Muslim."

5. Speaking of political correctness gone awry, why do so many of my fellow liberals laud Islam when the religion oppresses women, represses free speech, has a totally barbaric legal code, is not progressive in the least? Compare what nations like the U.S. and Israel have contributed to world culture, knowledge, and medical/scientific/technological advances with what the Islamic world has accomplished in the past few centuries.

6. I think vetting Muslims makes sense, but I do wonder about profiling. I mean, one cannot ask a person what his or her religion is, whether boarding a plane or applying for a job.

DJ - DISAGREE

Really? Then who were the Muslims warring with if not the Christians? You cannot have it both ways, Allen. christianity's violent ways are why missionaries like Xavier, who did not pursue violence, and used his authority to preempt the portugese who did, are such stand outs in religious history. Also, the entire subjugation of the north American continent came within the last 400 years, and every last bit of that was justified, in theory at least, by the authority of the Christian idea of God.

Gravatar.com Seems to me profiling is just a good investigative technique. We can't be tying the hands of law enforcement, especially now.

Gravatar.com IMO, anybody who says he doesn't believe in racial profiling is either lying, nuts or just plain stupid.

Gravatar.com On Sunday 31st show, you stated that Reverend Wright's church was a good church. You also disagreed with a blogger that "marxist and communists need not attend church because they don't believe in God. " My reply is, "woe unto those that call evil good and good evil." Barack's previous church was an environment filled with profanity and treasonous rhetoric. To say or suggest that the president is not a marxist or a communist doesn't make sense, since the people he has chosen to associate, align, appoint, and embrace passionately believe in and cite communist beliefs and statements on a regular basis. If you expect people to take you seriously, then you need to speak honestly, which in this case means standing up for truth with unashamed frankness. Please ponder this...God bless you for your abundant good works. Thank you.

Lyle, you don't have a first clue about what "communism" and "Marxism" actually mean. Go read a book, then come back here. Damn Teabaggers, who let them in here anyway?

About profiling, even a child could see that profiling based on how someone looks or what their name is, is not a very effective way to screen for potential terrorists. Any competent terror cell could easily adapt to that - by for example using converts (and as we all know recent converts tend to be the most radical, be it Muslim or Christian or even PETA) who neither look stereotypically Muslim nor have an Arabic name.
It's just like this suspicion TSA is supposed to have against people who have one way tickets, check no luggage or pay for their tickets with cash. Sure, the crotch bomber was three for three there but he was also not competent enough to actually detonate the bomb or even attempt to detonate it in the privacy of a head rather than in his seat, so that kinda proves my point. Any halfway competent terrorist would try to look as unsuspicious as possible which means buying a two way ticket, packing a suitcase or two , getting a credit card. These things are neither difficult nor expensive and in the long run only inconvenience people who leegitimately do any of these things.

Allen Hunt said in a tweet...OK, I watched the Hangover for like the 8th time this weekend. I never watch movies more than once. What is the matter with me?

Hangover is ungodly. Watching it even once, let alone 8 times, is conduct unbecomming a former pastor!

Jo Ann Wingfield said in comment # 1...2 weeks from today Valentine's day DAYTONA Ahhh, the hard life choices.

I say Daytona. What's more romantic than a campout in the infield of the Dattona Motor Speedway? At least if you are from Appalachia? Definitely not much!
Besides, it will be the 9th anniversary of the Dale Earnhardt crash. And 9 is 32. I hope the Missus buys that.

By the way, how did a guy wo got crucified upside down become a patron saint of romantic love? Oh I know, it's like with Christmas and Saturnalia and Easter and different fertlity celebrations (hence the eggs and bunnies - neither of which are symbolic of supernatural resurrection but rather of quite natural fertlity) - pagan holidays with a very thin veneer of Christianization. Valentine's Day antecedent is called Lupercalia, another fertility festival connected to Romulus and Remus, the mythical founders of the city who were suckled by a shewolf after being put in a basket and thrown into the Tiber (remensicent of Oedipus and Moses). One of the Lupercalia customs was a kind of lottery where names of young unmarried women were drawn by young men and who would then become their "valentine" if you will for the duration of the festival.

Gravatar.com ALONG CAME A SPIDER...

The Islāmic prophet Mohammed is said to have had a spider make a web across the mouth of a small cave to hide him from his enemies on one occasion. I believe this same spider has moved into the front door of our White House.

I find that Barack (Barry) Hussein Obama (Soetoro) attended an Islāmic school for 5 years or more in Indonesia or near his home country of Kenya. Who really knows what the truth is behind Obama’s real identity with his place of birth and his associations being hidden from the American people by our own ultra-liberal govt, ultra-liberal courts and ultra-liberal media. When Obama actually moved back to the US after attending Muslim school he registered as being a Muslim within our own schools. Furthermore, I found that within the Islāmic religion Muslims are allowed to lie to subvert and conquer the infidels; this being unlike Judeo-Christianity….

I believe Islam is a forgery of Judeo-Christianity except for some major differences Mohammed decided to throw in to empower, and enrich himself. It is a fact that Mohammed borrowed from Judeo-Christianity in the making of his Islāmic religion, and by tying it into Ishmael for legitimacy. The rest he made up as he went along to get his empire built. This is how Jihad came into existence. Infidels are to eventually convert or die. Not much love, tolerance, or forgiveness there.

However, in Judeo-Christianity Yahshua died for us all, and we are not required to die or kill for him even though millions were killed for his name sake. Judeo-Christianity is the oldest religion on the planet wherein all others followed and transitioned into what we know of today. The prophets in Judaism foretold the advent of Christianity and are therefore intrinsically tied together….

I further find that In Islam the twelfth Imam or the Al-Mahdi fits the bill of the Christian anti-Christ described in the book of Revelations with the white horse, miraculous powers and the whole nine yards. Them who refuse to bow down and submit to the anti-Christ system will have their heads cut off or be imprisoned. There are them in Islam who teach their children to cut off heads in a certain way to please their god-Allah. The Christian text does say that the pagan Roman church is involved with this end time scenario as well….

However, fortune tellers and them who practice witchcraft are forsaken in the Judeo-Christian texts as being false prophets even though false prophets will be right at least part of the time. After all, Lucifer and his collaborators are powerful beings who work through people, too.You can tell a real prophet by what he or she says being 100% true all the time if they are of the real God. The discovery of the bible codes has a lot of people on edge along with the recent scientific findings on the Shroud of Turin, and much more….

I further found that the prophets of the old and new testaments have had 98% of their prophecy already fulfilled and documented. Many national leaders have or have had their own personal psychics. We have Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce to name a few who have a high percentage rate of accuracy in their predictions, but not 100% never the less….

Therefore, it is only fair to say that there is a lot of exploitation of Christianity. Most of the Christian churches do not follow scripture or teach the scriptures accurately within the different denominations. However, Judeo-Christians do share binding common-ground; God and his son, and the values and principles inherent in these two very real entities in spite of the corruption and exploitation that may exist within the Churches. This is nothing compared to the global secular élite who are hell-bent on robbing, enslaving and ruling our entire world….This is why you should not play follow the leader with anyone. Learn the truth within the texts for yourself for this is what it teaches, and maybe then you will find the real God, and his real son.

Furthermore, modern archaeologists find more evidence practically everyday that validates and supports what is written in the Judeo-Christian texts. It is truly amazing. As for pagan Rome and their churches all I can say is that Lucifer and his fallen angels work in their mysteriously deceptive ways to get people and nations to worship them.

I have found that Babylon is the founder of paganism from which all pagan gods evolved and were handed down throughout the different generations. Even the Vatican and its other Roman churches still have statues of the Roman pagan gods in them. They only renamed the pagan statues after the saints and Mary the mother of Yahshua. All this has been said before and is documented in many different books and booklets, and I assure you it is the last thing from being silly. It is estimated that the corrupt Roman church killed about 100-million people during the dark ages. If this is not the forces of evil working through people and their institutions, what is it then?

Furthermore, no other religion offers forgiveness for sin through grace and faith wherein good works follow as evidence of this transformation of heart and mind. Furthermore, you are not required to die for God or his son to have forgiveness, nor kill others. No other tomb is empty except for one. There is a lot more politically, socially, domestically, rationally, philosophically, scientifically and prophetically found within the Judeo-Christian texts that does not exist in any other religion known to man. All one has to do is actually read it and understand it for themselves and the truths will become self-evident….

Over the past several years, President Barack Obama has repeatedly claimed that America is not a Christian nation. He asserted that while a U. S. Senator, 1 repeated it as a presidential candidate, 2 and on a recent presidential trip to Turkey announced to the world that Americans “do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.” 3 (He made that announcement in Turkey because he said it was “a location he said he chose to send a clear message.” 4 ) Then preceding a subsequent trip to Egypt, he declared that America was “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world” 5 (even though the federal government’s own statistics show that less than one-percent of Americans are Muslims. 6 (wallbuilders.com).

Obama is not a private citizen and he is a representative of his Muslim religion to which he does in fact have certain obligations. Being in our highest office he can undermine and subvert our policies that effect our overall society and our form of gov’t. Obama is using the secularist agenda to subversively promote his own Islāmic agenda.

Last May, President Obama refused to invite Christian and Jewish leaders to the White House to participate in the National Day of Prayer (as former presidents have done). He did invite Muslim leaders to the White House for a special Muslim Ramadan celebration to commemorate Allah delivering the Koran to his prophet Mohammed. Islam will shine through America's capitol, and proudly and unabashedly they declare, "Our Time Has Come!"

Our Gov’t is not, and has not favored one denomination over another as was the founders real intent, and the majority of Americans support this form of Gov’t because of the values and principles they want their children to inherit to guide their behavior and conscience. The Founders never intended to set up a form of Gov’t that would allow foreign powers, foreign religions, or secular subverters into the auspices of our Gov’t! For anyone to think otherwise must live in a very disturbed world of their own imaginings.

The Founders have taken and established the values and principles from Judeo-Christianity as a standard with which to govern and make our laws. What is so hard to understand about that? Why would our Founders sabotage our form of Gov’t or our national identity by leaving it open to subversion by anyone? This is the heart of moral decay in our country….

I find that many of the men and women in this country who oppose, and find the very concept, discussion, and practice of secularism, foreign religions, abortion, and homosexuality by them in our secular, corporate, big liberal gov’t, progressive media, our progressively liberal courts, and our secular/alien religious schoolrooms to be forced indoctrination, repulsive and evil….

Furthermore, we are talking about good, evil, right and wrong conduct and behavior as defined by or based in a Judeo-Christian moral code as established and defined by our Founders whose intent was to carry out this higher moral code to govern our laws, and our society; not a theocracy, secular or religious….

The silent majority are not the screaming minority who are out attacking people of all faiths in their Churches or in our streets because the people voted against the acceptance of perversion and subversion in our state and national voting.

Furthermore, the tea parties are just the tip of the iceberg, and represent the silent majority in our country who are people from all walks of life and faith finally coming out in large numbers against the robbing of, and the subversion of our country by the radical liberal fringe element minority in our socialist corporate-liberal big gov’t élite. This monstrosity uses homosexuals, baby killers, and the secular religion proposing freedom from our religion instead of the freedom to practice, and keep our own religion as was the intent of our founders. This being done to create a crack in the foundation of our country to further legitimize their fascist monkey-god religious agenda with the help of their small army of secularly liberal indoctrinated parrots.

A good example of the hit and run parrots lack of comprehensive and feeble attacks against our country and it’s founders exist in their inability to understand the true meaning of words and their true definitions. True Republican Principles= Republic= Republicanism as was created and intended by the vast majority of our founders. These principles were derived from the Judeo-Christian texts as the standard our Founders used to judge inappropriate, deviant, and subversive behavior harmful to the people, their national identity, and the unity of our nation as was clearly stated by all the founders often throughout the majority of their orations and practices….

So, let’s get real…we can not all have our own govt’s with our own faith and set of principles for governing and law making. Secularism is not a neutral religion not with its own faith in its own set of saturational principles that are in antithesis to many others including our own. This was understood by the majority of Americans in this country at one time whether they were new citizens who met downtown or stayed at home. This being until recent times with the advent of the progressive secular/liberal minority, and other adverse religious minorities attempting to indoctrinate and confuse the American people to over-throw our national identity and form of gov’t. This being done through their subterfuge in conducting a mass domestic foreign invasion of our country, and concentrating our wealth and power into the hands of the few élite monkey gods and their false prophets….

The revisionist garbage that our progressively secular, corporate, big liberal gov’t, secular/liberal media, and our progressive secular/foreign religious teachers want the American people to learn, hear and see from them is pure fear tactics and fantasy. This is demonstrated by their deeply indoctrinated parroting of, and their continued attempts to enforce, their detrimentally progressive cause upon humanity. Their ilk are truly the one’s society has to fear because if such a cause were to avail upon humanity the enforced decadence and murder imposed on us by the élite monkey gods would have no bounds….

What I have presented to the people is the exact antithesis, grounded in humanitarian principles, of what the progressively radical secular/liberal fringe element minority portent for us all….

I have found that secularism/liberalism with its bogus saturational ethics only leads people to their ruin through dependency on our morally and financially bankrupt gov’t, its social programs, and on legal or illegal drugs. The corrupting progressive secular/liberal fringe elements within our gov’t and our institutions created the subterfuge, and use it just like many past dictatorships have to control their people. If our economy gets worse or collapses our streets will be full of mindless morons running wild, and nothing or no one is safe….

I believe, this is why the secularists tend to be gay and baby killers because they can not cope, and lack the mechanisms for coping, with normal relationships under the current system of saturational (situational) ethics being promoted by our corrupting secular corporations, our big liberal gov’t, its secular, and adverse religions within our institutions….

Therefore, separation of church and state first appears in a private letter that John Adams wrote to his wife which has been taken out of context by them trying to subvert our form of gov’t, religion, way of life and national identity. Adams gave many sermons himself, and he was a biblical scholar as was Ben Franklin who told Thomas Paine he was spitting in the wind with his secular non-sense….

In closing, I want to further clarify my position on my religion to avoid any mockery or mis-understanding. I believe in El-Yahweh and his son Yahshua who died for our sins to bring us back to our Father/Creator to worship and glorify him.Yahshua will receive his praise and glory from the Father. El-Yahweh is a jealous God, one God, spirit and not man unlike his only begotten son Yahshua. El-Yahweh does not change. I believe in all the commandments (especially the fourth commandment) given to us to by our Creator to live by for this is his mark on his people.

Therefore, it is obvious that I do not fit in with any of the known organized religious institutions. Even if you’re the only one to stand out alone from among the multitude you shall be the only one saved; put your trust in no man lest you be deceived. Words of wisdom to live by. I can think of none better. I do not put my trust, faith or salvation in any man or woman because their hearts are continually evil. We are all sinners, but blessed are those who over-come. We strive for spiritual progress rather than spiritual perfection in this life for this allows for our humanity to shine its brightest….

Description
The Allen Hunt Show is about faith and life, plain and simple. According to a Gallup Poll in May of 2005, 85% of Americans consider their faith important or fairly important to their lives. Yet there is a gap on the talk radio airwaves that examines where faith and life come together. This show fills that gap like nothing currently on the radio. This is not one more political talk show, nor is it another faith-based counseling show because ultimately, life is not about what is right or left, but about what is right and wrong. The Allen Hunt Show takes on real life issues, with real life people, to see how faith can have a real impact. Join us on Saturdays from 9-12 PM and Sundays from 6-9 PM. Blessings!
