Having a mate who is sexually intimate with other people, not to mention in a public forum, robs the marriage of true intimacy and exclusivity. Those are the hallmarks of a healthy marriage.

Allen, I think you take a way too narrow view of what a marriage is. For one you calling it "infidelity" and saying that she "cheats" on him on a regular basis as you did on your show. But infidelity/cheating is not the case here as Anabel's actions are done with full knowledge and blessing of Scott. That would also apply to open marriages, where sexual exclusivity does not apply (and where it isn't "just work" either).
Just because sexual exclusivity is the "default setting" of marriages in our culture does not mean it's the only valid option. It's not for everyone for sure, but that does not make the other choices any less proper.

I don't think Scott is right that porn sex is not "sex" (if it's not sex what is it?) but I would say it is not "sexual intimacy". As such I can definitely see him separating "work sex" from "intimate sex" his wife has for him.

By the way, did anyone else looked up samples of Jazella Moore's work first thing after reading about this story?

I can't believe you actually wrote everything you said about marriage. An open marriage is not a marriage its two people having sex with lots of people. What kind of effed up person would even want that? What lonely disgusting sad lives these people must live. If you actually think that it is normal I pity you. I am so sorry you are so screwed up. What guilt these people must feel all the time now they have to try and justify their actions in front of the public but saying its not the type of marriage they desire. The poor people need to admit they are wrong and they will feel a whole lot better. This is so sad I don't know where to begin or what even to say, only that these people need help and they are only hurting themselves. I also find the evilness amazing, I am intrigued how people love to corrupt the world around them to ruin the sacred and holy institution of marriage - it is soley so they can feel less guilty about the way they live. Sex is a gift from God and its abuse can be seen and felt in this world, the abusers will never be satisfied with the ways they try to fill in the gap of the Holy Spirit and they will surely feel God's wrath in the next life. The demons in these people's lives...this is so sad

Yes, like in the Bible, is there any other holy book? I'd love to see any part of it disproven. Thankfully we have an all powerful God that is perfect and unchanging through the ages. If the Bible were not true then to any Christian's concern there are no morales. There would be no reason for me not to go out and kill anyone I don't like. There would be no reason to stop sickos from screwing animals. There would be no reason to not steal. You should be thanking God he gave us morals and set the standards in the Bible so that society even has a shot at functioning properly. I can only imagine the detrimental effects these kinds of marriages can have on children. Keep it up and we'll have a lot more Columbine or Virginia Tech instances. We are creating an angry generation that will have a hard time not hating the cruel world they grow up in. No wonder the muslims hate our country because of immoral pricks as these. Granted they have their own sins and problems but can you blame them for wanting to blow up our towers as we mettle in their home nations, try and spread democracy and liberalism so their conservative clean women can become like our slutty abominations. They are not stupid they see just how sick American society functions and have the humaneness if that is a word to protect their women, they are not all mistreated and beaten as propaganda would have you assume. Probably no more than the western world abuses, prostitutes, or kidnaps for whore houses.

Its not a projection it is a reality. Its human nature to defend what they have or to try and comfort themselves if they do not have the balls to admit when they are wrong. In essence if they have too much pride as human pride keeps people from God which is a truth, to say its not is as much as an objective statement as mine if mine can even be considered objective.

My God does not need a wrath management class if everything he does is holy and good, he has every right to be angry - and quite frankly it would not matter if he didn't have every right as he is in charge. He is a loving God but a powerful God and one that should be feared. That is what people don't understand, the fear of God. Just because he is a merciful, good, and loving God does not mean he is not an all powerful Being that can do as he pleases when he pleases. I would not recommend testing his will.

Its not unloving to tell somebody they are wrong. In fact it is more loving for me to point out ignorance than to let it go unchecked. I would question if you really know what love is cause its not walking around saying everybody is right or telling the dumb ones they are smart, the fat ones they are skinny. Truth is love and a hard truth does not equate to being an asshole.

Holy books are a dime a dozen really.
And many parts of the Bible have been shown to be false. For example, the universe was not made in 6 days about 6000 years ago. Plants did not come into being before the Sun - or angiosperms ("fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself") before sea animals or birds before land animals. There is no water above the "firmament" (to think of it, there is no such thing as a firmament either). So many errors in the first chapter alone! Parts of the Bible are only "proven" false depending on what scientist you prefer to believe. Obviously someone that wants to live for themselves and not God, someone that wants to deny God is gonna choose to follow the scientists that have "confirmed" His "contradictions", it makes you feel more comfortable in your sin but I'm sure it provides no overall comfort in day to day life and it definately won't in the end. What do you know about all of mankind that makes you the one to judge or should I ask what power do you hold that alllows you to assert what is ok and not ok to do. If you actually think you are right and you are arguing for your side then you are a forcing your lack of morals just as much as I am pushing for real morals.
