Mike Huckabee, Please Don't Go
I just finished my taxes. And taxes for both my girls. Now I miss Mike Huckabee.

Wow. I simply cannot believe how much money goes to the federal government. It is absurd. Even our savings for my daughters' college funds get taxed. That is ridiculous.

And secondly, I cannot believe how incredibly arcane the tax code and forms are. It has taken me DAYS to fill this out.

I have to admit - I may have been wrong on Huckabee. Last night as I heard his farewell speech, his commitment to the Fair Tax and to the abolition of the IRS really rang a bell with me. The thought of an even larger government and an ever more encroaching tax code make me cringe.

So I find myself crooning, "Mike Huckabee, please don't go." I regret that I did not awaken sooner.

Gravatar.com I don't care who the official GOP nominee is - I'm going to write in Mike Huckabee just on the strength of his support for the FairTax.

Gravatar.com Well, we should continue to push FairTax with or without Mike Hukabee. You should reach out more to your audience on FairTax. Boortz has done a good job through his rallies and radio show. As for Hukabee, I am glad he is out. He is a hypoctite. He changed too fast and too often. He raised taxes by $500 million as a governor of Arkansas. As a Christian, I just don't trust a preacher who could change so drastically on an issue that he supposedly campaign on.

What's Allen Up To?

Description
The Allen Hunt Show is about faith and life, plain and simple. According to a Gallup Poll in May of 2005, 85% of Americans consider their faith important or fairly important to their lives. Yet there is a gap on the talk radio airwaves that examines where faith and life come together. This show fills that gap like nothing currently on the radio. This is not one more political talk show, nor is it another faith-based counseling show because ultimately, life is not about what is right or left, but about what is right and wrong. The Allen Hunt Show takes on real life issues, with real life people, to see how faith can have a real impact. Join us on Saturdays from 9-11 PM and Sundays from 6-9 PM. Blessings!
