Lots of good reading this summer. Here are the three best business/leadership books I have read.
1) Made to Stick - by Chip and Dan Heath.
What a great book! Focuses on why some ideas make it and others fade away. 6 great principles for communicating as a manager, leader, or speaker. Great for preachers as well - how to make sure folks get and remember your message. One of ten best books of last 10 years in my opinion.
2) The Five Dysfunctions of a Team - Patrick Lencioni
Excellent memorable work that teaches by narrative. Great insight into how to lead and direct a team. Helpful for business, church, education or even volunteer work.
3) Good to Great - Jim Collins
Everyone has heard of this by now. Came out several years ago. But makes the important distinction that leadership is about results and about humility - not ego or stature. Great lessons for a leader.

Also, my wife and I were in Jacksonville FL for the fireworks on July 4 and heard the Pledge of Allegiance said over the loud speaker system and, following "one Nation" they dropped "under God" and went straight to "indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all." Something else to talk about your listeners might find interesting.
Here's an alternative list:
1) The Prince by N. Machiavelli.
A classic text. Recommended for both pastors and deacons.
2) Quotations by Mao Zedong.
Took his country from worst to first and bedded many beautiful women, despite being fat, unattractive and Chinese. Only killed 50 million people in the process.
3) Glengarry Glenross by D. Mamet.
Not technically a book but my generation is illiterate. Good for team-building and general motivation.
4) Gospel according to St. Mark author unknown.
The 7 habits of highly effective saviors. Spoiler Alert: Original ending is a downer.
Love in Christ,
Erik
